So far I’m a little put off by some of the things in this book and not the horror aspects. Although the art is amazing and the story is intriguing, the characters so far are super unlikable. You can just TELL this is written by a man who doesn’t know how to write women. I might continue the series in hopes that it gets better and less pervy because I like the art so much but who knows.

a solid start for the series. I definitely will continue, though I hope parts feel a bit less pervy in the future

Such a quick read, personally some things were quite uncomfortable, but I didn't hate it. I don't think I'd be interested in the whole series, but I genuinely am curious on how it progresses, so I may or may not read the second volume.

It's your standard teenager-gets-turned-into-a-vampire story, except being a vampire is an innuendo for being an awkward horny teenager. The end result is weird and derivative.

This also might be the quickest manga read I've ever done, the whole volume is uneventful and can be read in around 10 minutes or less.

This felt like a decent start to a potentially really interesting series. I haven't read anything else by Shuzo Oshimi, but I have a few of his other books on my to-read list. I didn't find Makoto to be terribly interesting, but I could see him growing on me. What I'm most excited about is the young woman pictured on the cover who attacked him and turned him into a vampire, so I hope we get to see more of her as the series progresses.
