It was very long.

I also feel like I would have understood more if I hadn't jumped in on the 4th and final book of a series. But to be honest, I only realised this about 600 pages in and by then I was committed.

But yeah, I enjoyed it. Very different to what I normally read, and I liked it.

It was slow-paced and I couldn't keep track of all the characters. I love the author and the series and made it to the half way mark but just couldn't take more time finishing it.
