Didn't get into the books until I was 2/3 through. The last 200 pages were very captivating. However, I feel like there were a lot of unlogical/confusing phases while reading the book. Also there are way too many characters and it is hard to remember every detail. So the plot felt sometimes very confusing because you have to think back to small details that happened way back. The end left me wanting to know more. But it feels like we’re now at a similar point that we were at the ending of the second book. So even though I didn't enjoy reading the book for the most part, I still want to know how the story continues in the next book.

I enjoy chatting with my friends about this book series far more than I enjoy reading this book series. Better than Iron Flame, but, tbh, it shouldn't have been a 5 book series.
