Where to start. I've read a lot of shifter stories and I know they can be anything. Most commonly wolves, but I've heard of bears, birds all sorts. I never imagined ever dinosaur shifters. I don't know why because really I don't see why not. I read this as a stand alone, I know there's one book before this but I dove right in with this one and I still got a lot from it.
In brief: Baha is part of a group that tries to hunt down and save fossils from the hands of private collectors. He's tasked with getting a rare Spinosaurus skeleton but has to work with ex-fossil hunter and thief Jackson to get it, posing as Jackson's fiance to get what he wants.
I just loved the idea of dinosaur shifters once I got my head round it. Like most kids I loved dinosaurs and that's stayed with me through Jurassic Park (yes, I know). I loved Baha's sheer joy when he was shifted into his spinosaurus form swimming through the Amazon, and I was desperate to find out what Jackson was once I discovered he was a shifter too. I won't spoil it by revealing here but suffice to say I had to google it because it was a new one on me.
I also love heist stories, getting one over on the bad guys is always fun to watch or read, and this is a fun romp trying to free the fossils from the clutches of the bad guy. I liked the supporting cast too, even Colin had his moments and I think there's more to Felipe than meets the eye and I'd love to meet him again.
Baha and Jackson were so good together, I loved how grumpy Baha was and how Jackson loved to wind him up. Also loved the whole idea that the dinosaur shifters had gone underground to sleep when the meteor hit and they'd been asleep for millions of years, it was a really nice twist. Now I have to go and read the first one and wait patiently for the next.

These books continue to be really fun. Baha is great and i love his general surliness. But once he’s in, he’s all in. Jackson was playful and fun and a great counter to Baha. I loved Jackson’s zest for life and how aggressive he got when someone stole from his friend.
Such a fun read. Takes the high octane fun of the first book, throws in UST with a hate/love relationship, trust issues, and a smarmy ex-boyfriend.
Enemies to lovers.
Fake fiancé.
Dino shifters
Sharing a bed.
Highly recommend this series.

Cute but I was hoping for more. It was a short and sweet book the mission they did was entertaining and I recommend this if you liked the first book.
Kirt Graves Did a good job narrating!

SINK OR SWIM was not quite as enjoyable for me as the first book in this series was, but after it's very slow start it does begin to pick up. Jackson and Baha are both dinosaur shifters so that was an nice change but they have a pretty acrimonious relationship for a lot of the book and Baha is the grumpiest grump I think I've ever read, lol. He was actually getting on my nerves a little bit.
I think part of what didn't work for me this time is that SINK OR SWIM felt more over the top and the villains came across as slightly ridiculous because of this. However, I definitely plan to continue this series because I love the concept and even with these two fighting so much, their vulnerable moments were written really well.
