I didn't think I would enjoy this much more than the first book, but here I am! The dialogues and chemistry between the characters were so great. It was easy to identify who was speaking even with the smallest of roles. This was such a fun read.
Cute af. I loved this. Way better than the first! And the first was great! This was fking fantastic. Sunshine and grumpy, add to that dinosaur shifters?? I loved their combo from chapter one. đź©·đź©·đź©·đź’•đź’•Adorable.

These books remain hilarious. I wasn't sure I'd like Baha but hot damn, did I love Jackson. In the end, this book made me laugh out loud so often I got strange looks.

What I loved....
1. The Characters:
- Jackson: Texan, Hottie, Snarky, Ray of sunshine and I LOVE HIM!
- Baha: Egyptian, Grumpy AF, a dark GOD of a dinosaur, Growly ... #NeedISayMore
2. The Plot:
Jackson and Baha are on a mission to retrieve some very important stolen fossils. Baha hates Jackson on sight and Jackson is smitten on sight. BUT... retrieving the fossils forces them into close proximity and as they come closer and closer to getting the fossils back, Jackson tears down Baha's reservations. #BreakThrough
3. The Romance:
Baha goes all GROWL and GRRRR and I HATE YOU and FUCK YOU! And Jackson goes all SWOONY and SOFT and YAAAS DARLIN' PLEASE FUCK ME! Their banter is on point and their chemistry undeniable. #PrehistoricLove
4. The HFN...

Oh this made me insane. It made me feral. I screamed and laughed and twirled my finger in my hair and kicked my feet. A grumpy fossil hunter (Baha) and a cowboy mercenary for hire type guy (Jackson) were a match made in grumpy/sunshine heaven. The tropes for this basically guaranteed it would be a win for me. They’re on a cruise ship fake dating for gods sake. I swooned so much and I loved everything about this. Five stars for a shifter romance???? Who am I? I literally have no words because this was fun and swoony and I’ve already reread some of my fave scenes.
