Ugh! Catherine outdid herself with this one! My favorite in the series so far! This book had me running the full spectrum of emotions and back again! Sutton and Cope match each others fierceness to perfection! They are dedicated and selfless and are both able to help the other battle and settle the others demons. There was so much love, and heartache, and healing in this book that I was forever on edge. Not to mention I literally NEVER get the twist right! I really thought I had it this time, but was yet again blindsided! There aren’t many authors who manage to sneak up on me, but she does it every time!

Another stunning novel by Catherine Cowles that kicks starts by getting your adrenaline pumping and jam dropping twists and turns that occur throughout the storyline.

Cope Copeland is hands down the ideal book boyfriend. The way he showed his love and protectiveness of the local bakery owner, Sutton and her son was so sweet and the tenderness he had for them and his own family really shone through.

The Colson family has to be one of my favourite families with their uniquely hilarious grandmother, Lolli and her special diamond art, and family members that come from all kinds of backgrounds. This book provides more insight into Cope’s family, which I really loved learning on how they came to be shaped into the family they are now.

Broken Harbor delivers on all the emotions and narration by Connor Crais and Erin Mallon did a great performance by making the story come alive.

Thank you to the author for the alc. All thoughts expressed in this review are my own.
