I feel like I’ve highlighted almost every BookBub description, which speaks to the quality of Broken Harbor.

This book provided exactly what I didn’t know I needed this week. Connor and Erin made my daily commute much more enjoyable, and I was truly invested in Cope and Sutton’s story—I didn’t want it to end.

Cope is a genuinely good guy, and the friendship and compassion he shares with Sutton and Luca are so sweet. It’s easy to see why they have such strong bonds.

That twist was unexpected and added an intriguing element to the story.

I’m looking forward to more from Sparrow Falls!

If you aren’t reading single parent romances, then what are you even doing? Sutton and Cope were everything but little Luca had my heart. ♥️ and yes he’d hate being called little but it’s fine. I’d be his bestie anyway.

Sparrow Falls is just the gift that keeps on giving. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to shut up about this series and there’s still so much more to come.

Single mom romances aren’t something I read a lot and why you ask? Not a clue. Luca might have been my favorite character in the whole story next to Lolli

Catherine Cowles absolutely nailed it with Broken Harbor! Cope and Sutton’s story had everything I love—so much heart, all the feels, and just the right amount of suspense. Cope is the ultimate book boyfriend—strong, protective, and such a softie when it comes to Sutton and her son, Luca. I loved how he grew throughout the book, letting Sutton in and being there for her in every way that mattered.

And Sutton? She’s such a badass! She’s tough, loving, and does everything she can to give Luca the best life. Their relationship is so sweet and real, and I adored how Catherine wrote Sutton as both a strong single mom and a vulnerable woman letting love back into her life. Her bond with Luca was so beautifully done, and watching her and Cope build something so special together was everything.

The suspense in this one kept me hooked, and that twist?! Wow. Catherine knows how to keep you guessing, and it made the story even better. Plus, getting to see the Colson family again (Lolli forever!) was the cherry on top. The hockey romance angle was a fun addition too—Cope’s career and personal struggles gave his character so much depth.

This book had me laughing, crying (seriously, twice), and swooning nonstop. Catherine’s books are a must-read if you love emotional, heartfelt romances with a little bit of everything. I already can’t wait for the next one!
