I love CC books and the intertwined series, but this one seemed too forced. It didn’t pull me in like her other ones have. Cope and Sutton were a cute pair, but the peripheral stuff was a rinse and repeat of the last 2 books.

I read the first sparrow books and thought how could I be more shocked.

Well it didn’t happen. Right off the 1st chapter my mouth dropped open.
At this point in Catherine Cowels book expect the unexpected.
Copeland and Sutton! They didn’t disappoint.
I knew as soon as Luca mentioned in a previous book that he liked hockey it was game OVER!
The family of Cope, Sutton, and Luca was awe-inspiring and made me tear up several time
They both had so much going on and it’s never who I expect it is! NEVER! I should have known but I didn’t. Catherine Cowles writes suspense like no other!
