Easiest 5 stars I’ll ever give because Catherine delivered perfection with Broken Harbor. She knew we were all missing a little hockey mixed with suspense, and she blessed us with an early Christmas present.

I refuse to move on from this book because Cope and Sutton own my heart. Their relationship was everything—the way Cope never gave up and gave Sutton something she thought she’d never have again.

Single mom romance always gets me, but what truly stole my heart this time? Cope and Luca’s bond.

Even though this is the third of the Sparrow Falls Series, this was my first read in the series and I loved it! The whole love story is an entire fantasy - a rich, handsome hockey player who wants to take care of the single mom with a traumatic past...

There are a few elements that definitely took a turn towards cheesy, and the spicy scenes were not totally my favorite (a few aspects just seemed out of place to their characters), but at the end of the day, that really didn't impact my reading experience or enjoyment.

The mystery/suspense/crime aspect adds a little something extra. All in all, Broken Harbor was a lot of fun to read and I couldn't stop turning the pages.

I wanted to DNF this book but I had already printed a book sticker for my reading journal .... so here we are. I didn't care for Cope or Sutton. I didn't care for this book at all.
