I have a love/like relationship with this book. It hit differently from a mom perspective. Sutton is inspiring as a mother. I teared up at some points. But Cope and Sutton were both their own worst enemies in an almost annoying way. I know they each had their own demons to fight but there is something about how they went about it that was just irritating in a way. Still enjoyed it though.

After reading about basically every dark romance man known to man, and red flags being the new norm, it was refreshing to read a contemporary romance!!!!!
Sutton being a single mom and raising Luca all by herself while struggling to make ends meet BUT still giving him an amazing childhood was so beautiful to read she deserves the world. Cope had me giggling and laughing whenever he spoke but when the heavier topics hit my heart was with him. They both needed each other and I like to think Cope needed Luca in his life. This family is quite literally the definition of found family!
