I was hooked from the first page, trying to unravel the mystery of the sisters’ relationship and what happened to Hannah. I cried a lot and felt every single one of Ruth’s ups and (very low) downs. I texted my own sister while reading this that I was feeling very emotional because of the story, and I wanted a hug from her!
The only reason I didn’t give this five stars is that the open ending has been playing on my mind.Did Ruth kill herself? Or was jumping (and not dying) her way of dealing with or accepting that she wasn’t truly responsible for Hannah’s death? I’ve been thinking about it for days!
The only reason I didn’t give this five stars is that the open ending has been playing on my mind.
