So much happened in these 2 volumes. i finally managed to find the omnibus versions in my library and picked up vol 2 which was great. It was interesting to find out more about Johan and Nina. i find them both such interesting characters and cant wait to see how they develop throughout the story especially so far we have seen how Nina has changed since she has remembered her past and how shes able to carry a gun. Its interesting to see the struggles Tenma goes through when trying to save people even criminals as hes on the path of trying to kill Johan but you can see him question if criminal/murders are worth saving. Also love the intro to Dieter hes so cute i was worried i wouldn't like him as i'm not usually a fan of kids in books.

omg the ending killed me. I still cant believe the plot twist at the end with Johan having two personalities. i never expected it in this series because i thought it would go the typical route of Johan (as hes been brought up in special circumstances which makes sense why hes a cold blooded killer) for him to grow up and just be this sociopath but its actually his other personality this whole time which is so interesting.
