A disappointing end to the trilogy. Did not have the same drive the other two did and I opted to listen to the story, instead of reading, while I did other things around the house.

No nevím. Naštěstí byla kniha dost akční, takže se četla rychle a dobře. Konec byl celkem předvídatelný, i když taky až příliš komplikovaný. Celkově se mi ale série líbila.

Where to start...? I was bored for the majority of this book, it was just Cia running around and wondering if she can trust someone. I mixed all the random side characters up so much because they were barely developed. I know this is very 2010s dystopian, but also why is this girl so perfect, knows so much, and is so important?? Like this random colony girl got an internship with the president, then the President + Barnes want her to be their ultimate test to get rid of the Testing or not? Also why did these 2 important, intelligent adults make a bet that hinges on a little 16 year old girl? What is stopping the President from not upholding her end of the bargain when Barnes dies? Why do we care about Tomas he annoyed me the entire time. He has no personality, just sketchy or sad.

I gave this 2.5 because despite all the flaws, I was still intrigued and desperately wanted to know what was going to happen. It was very interesting overall, and a quick series to read.

I lived this series as a whole, but this was my least favorite if the books. It felt like there was too much build up and not enough resolution for me to be completely satisfied with it. Solid series though.

Can't believe the president made that absurd request of a 16-year-old she's only known a little while. Especially can't believe Cia went through with it.

When I'm already having so much trouble suspending my disbelief don't go and do something like that.
