I did like how Jude handled Georgia's self-deprecating comments. He would say why she was good despite being broken.

An excellent horror story, with believable characters and realistic hauntings. I had to stop reading it at night, so it took a while to finish on Saturday afternoons. Very memorable!

Pretty good horror story. I was most scared in the beginning of the book. Wish that creepy feeling had stayed with me throughout, but it was still well-written and the characters were fully formed people.

I really loved this! Joe hill is a great writer, and I liked the main characters. This book really gets going fast - so early on I was kind of like “how is this sustainable for almost 400 pages” but the twists and turns and events kept coming! Jude is a bad person but he’s also a good person and the way he’s characterized is so good. Anyway. Gonna have to try another Joe hill.
