While the mystery was good, the story often went off on too many uninteresting tangents. I just couldn't keep wading through that stuff. Plus, I saw that it's being made into a movie so I thought my time would be better spent reading something that was well written.

I’m giving this book a 2.5-3 out of 5 stars. I starting this book because I’d seen it on booktube and Reddit for being pretty disturbing. This definitely isn’t the worst book I’ve ever read but I didn’t find it disturbing. I found myself right in the middle of wanting to know the ending and not caring at all.
