It was quite slow for awhile (a lot of building Morrigan's skill/knowledge) but it was still super enjoyable. I liked that it was sort of discussing racism in a way with the Wonamils(?? Spelling- listened to audio). I think there is another in the series being released later this year and I'll def read it when it comes out. This series is a great listen on audio.

This was once again thoroughly enjoyable and had a compelling ending. However, it felt a little formulaic, and the pacing and plot direction was really off. As a side note, I ADORE Jupiter and Morrigan’s adopted father/daughter relationship vibe.

I continue to be enthralled by the world and adventures of Morrigan Crow. The teachings of the Wundersmiths, the devastating spread of the mysterious Hollowpox -- and people's horrible, fearful reactions -- and the fallibility of authority figures. This book creates a magical world that draws readers in while also showing honest portrayals of people and their actions and emotions in response to the unknown. My only complaint is that there are so many details, I can't read too fast!
