The story opens with a young executive being sentenced to prison. We follow her there, then read more about her life and her crime. The story is told in dual timelines; life now and life in high school. It’s an interesting and well written book, easy to read, often gory. The ending was over the top and too neatly wrapped up.

i was routing for geo & kaiser from the first mention so im very happy with the ending. i enjoyed the entire the book apart from the climax at the end with her son & calvin, it just felt rushed and strange - other than that i loved it
I was not expecting this book to end the way it did. Still a good read.

Though nobody knows the real story and timeline of events…. Except geo & Calvin.

I really enjoyed this one. I really enjoyed the twist has I had no idea how it was end. I really liked Geo as FMC she was the villain the hero and the victim in all of this! Making her character arc great and complex! Love Jennifer’s writing and will be reading more from her!
