dark mysterious sad tense fast-paced

this was GOOD. This was disturbing and f—ed up in the best way 😩. I enjoyed the first half but baby that second half????????? Mind continuously blown! Mentally I went back and forth with myself about a few things as everything unfolded .. I just kept saying WTF.

Highly recommend. My 4th JH book and I’ve yet to be disappointed.

JAR OF HEARTS by Jennifer Hillier

What a roller coaster this was! I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was locked in and fully invested until the end. Loved the setting, the pacing and solid story line. Did I figure out the twist(s)? Yes. But that did not detract from my interest and investment in Geo’s, Angela, and Kai’s complex friendship.

Overall, a dark, disturbing, suspenseful and immersive psychological thriller/mystery. My first book by this author and I look forward to reading more. Highly recommend, but definitely check the trigger warnings as there are plenty!
