I don't know how I feel yet. This book took me forever to get through for some reason. A lot of unneccessary description and unlike the last book I read by her, an ending that left me with questions. She writes good books but theres always something missing for me. I will say I do enjoy the character descriptions in her books, she writes about POC women and its refreshing. Every other book I read is red headed girls with green eyes.. we get it. I love that JH writes brown eyed girls like they are goddesses! Anyway, its a 3 ⭐ for me!

My god, the emotions I felt reading this book and now that I’ve finished it. Wow. This was unbelievable and I couldn’t put it down. Easily one of the best books I’ve ever read. Wow. This will stick with me for awhile.
