Re-reading this book, which I was obsessed with all throughout high school, at almost 30 hits DIFFERENT. I’m just as obsessed now as I was then. The raw emotion and pain that the characters feel vibrates off the page and is reminding me that I truly am a bleeding heart, die-hard romantic. I don’t really know what else to say other than you should reread your teenage books every once in a while bc you’ll cry really hard and feel so many emotions. 10/10 no notes. Absolutely obsessed

One of my favorites by Sarah Dessen! It was a cute, not too cheesy, light hearted romance! There’s nothing ground breaking in this book, but it will keep you entertained. It lost .25 of a star for me because of the miscommunication trope at the end of the book. I also wish the chapters were shorter!

Teenage me absolutely adored this book! While it might not have the same effect on me now as a 20-something, this was one of my favourites when I was younger.

I love this book so much. I've read it approx 1 million times over the years and this reread was just as comforting as the rest! The vibes, the characters, the writing, everything.

I've been rereading this book every summer since I was 12 (it's been over a decade now), and I still love it so much. Macy's growth is amazing throughout the book, and Wes is absolutely the best. Kristy deserves all of the love in the world too.
