There are so many character POVs, which Im not entirely sure how I feel about. I am enjoying the murder mystery plot that’s going on. Also have no idea who I’m rooting for yet. I LOVE Gabriel but also Leon??? ugh I’m not sure what I want here!
This definitely won’t even come close to Zodiac Academy but I’m still enjoying it.

That was a crazy ending. A few times it got tedious, it also I read it in a day so that might be my fault. I found myself getting sick of the sexual content (which I often do) and wanting to get back to the true story.
Gareth’s sections were my favorite.
Ryder is whiny and needs to sort out his issues. How many times must you tell us what you have tattooed on your hands?
Leon is hilarious.
Elise should also seek therapy from someone that isn’t a siren or cyclops.
Dante needs to dragon better and werewolf less.
If this was the early 2000s Gabriel would be an emo kid, non conforming as can be.
It took me a while to get into the story but the ending picked up and made me want to keep reading!
Also, these covers are absolutely heinous.

This book, I read it slowly. I was not sure how I was going to feel about it as I make my way through the ZA universe. However, about 54% in I really started to like it.
I was hoping they would solve the murder by the end of this book, but I do understand that it is just uncovering a deeper, more sinister plot.
I like the FMC, and her pain. I am not as crazy about the kings.
I think all the kings KNOW about Gareth.
Ryder- I do enjoy his character, and feel like I want to more deeply explore him. I feel like he KNOWS.
Dante- I’m unsure how I feel about him, sometimes I like him. I feel like he has a more gentle heart than I am expecting.
Gabriel- I love me a broody man. I think he KNOWS. I feel like he is hiding something deeply.
Leon- hear me out. I think he’s probably sinister. The lazy vibes do not mesh well with the pawn shop. I think he knows the most.
I think they all played a part in whatever happened, like they’re all involved in this cult somehow. You can all mock me later.
