This has been my fave book to reread so far. Edward is back, Richard is introduced, and Larry.
I love the villains in this one. Especially Oliver. I feel like how his belief Vampires shouldnt be citizens eventually cascades into 'vampires can only be monsters and we need to prove it by ya know murderin a lot of people' is really indicative of how much philosphy and action are tied up in these books. And to how flawed Anita is as a person
Isk how i didnt see Richard is a walking red flag before though. He literally was like a great last minute costume is confederate soldier. Like that speaks so much to his character.
