This classic book of Jeeves and Wooster stories includes the story of the first time they meet, and the only one narrated by Jeeves. It also includes most of the stories from [b:My Man Jeeves|200572|My Man Jeeves|P.G. Wodehouse|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1308959178s/200572.jpg|463407], including a couple of Reggie stories redone using Jeeves and Wooster. Fixing it for Freddie is almost word for word the same as the previous version, but the Biffy story is quite different. For those readers only interested in Jeeves and Wooster stories, I would recommend skipping [b:My Man Jeeves|200572|My Man Jeeves|P.G. Another diverting read of Bertie Wooster and his body man Jeeves. This was good, but not a standout. I was additionally disappointed about the redundant passages I found with this book and the first book in this series. It felt as though the first book was a series of musings from Wodehouse, which ultimately was developed into this series, and Wodehouse borrowed heavily from his musings in this book.

If you've read the first book, then I think you can safely skip, although this book is the better of the two. I also enjoy the last chapter of this book, which is from the perspective of Jeeves-an enjoyable change of pace!

I did enjoy the book, but each story has the same arc...

- One of Bertie's friends is in a pickle
- Bertie does something that makes things worse OR he puts himself in a pickle
- Jeeves has a plan.
- The plan does not quite work, but Jeeves foresaw this would happen
- Everything turns out OK
- Bertie has to change an item of clothing OR someone turns out to be related to Jeeves OR both.
