4.95 ⭐️! i love this series. i love these characters. i was hesitant about going back in time but this book helped fill in so many gaps in the timeline, add some additional perspective, and truly humanize each and every character in this series

I love this series and these characters so much. I missed Lily and Lo so much and they are just what I needed right now. I can't wait to keep reading their stories and I am actually really excited to read Rose and Connors book even though I didn't love kiss the sky! The only thing with this book is that I feel like a lot of scenes were repeated from hothouse flower. Other than that it was incredible.

3.5 stars. My least favorite book in the series but I understand why it had to be done.
i didn't expect too much from this book because it's just lily and lo's perspective from kiss the sky and hothouse flower... but it was much more than that. the book can definitely stand on its own without becoming repetitive. i didn't know how much i missed lilo until i finally got to this book, it's so nice seeing their relationship dynamic once again because they're so different from raisy and coballoway. it was just as heartbreaking as their other books because there's never an end to the suffering they're subjected to as they constantly just have to learn to live with the repercussions fame has brought to all of them. i felt so bad for both lily and rose because i feel like it was too early on for them to become pregnant, but pregnant at the same time was even more evil... and while rose had connor who was beyond thrilled on becoming a father, lily had to endure lo's strong feelings against parenthood while oblivious to his very pregnant girlfriend all alone. lilo deserve so much better but at least they have each other and love one another unconditionally,, they're my definition of true love i love them so so much

I hate all the judgemental people in this book. All the fucked up media rumours and gossips. God! It was so horrible to read some parts that i cried.
