This one was hard for me to get through since it is a rewrite of Kiss The Sky and Hothouse Flower, but from Lily and Lo’s POV. I’m happy that I’m caught up with each couple and Im ready to continue on with their story!

I feel bad calling lily annoying but I honestly just think its her personality

lily and lo deserve the world and i would do anything to give it to them. edit: still a little repetitive but it’s lilo so i won’t complain

rr 11/2: so so so good, i get why ppl feel like this book is “unnecessary” and i can see where at times it gets repetitive but i feel like on the contrary it was also very important information as it filled in those gaps between the year ish gap between kts and hhf and it had some extra core six content so always a good time

but honestly this book always guts me, like it felt like hit after hit after hit and it was always so painful

the way lily and lo love each other so much that they were able to not only get thru these obstacles but manage to come out the other side stronger like if i cried at books i WOULD SOB RR THIS

although good it was still pretty repetitive at times so 4 stars from me, maybe like a 4.5 even but it was also so painful so maybe a 4.25

i can fix him no really i can - taylor swift
it’s not living (if it’s not with you) - the 1975
superman (taylor’s version) - taylor swift
talking body - tove lo
full machine - gracie abrams
run to you - lea michele
the bottom // wishful thinking (lo to lily) n (lily to lo) - gracie abrams
us- james bay
the grudge (lo to his father) - olivia rodrigo
half a heart - one direction

I was extremely bored the first half of the book because it was only retelling Kiss the Sky. I’m glad I didn’t abandon it though because the last half was a lot better. I think this could’ve been a novella, or at least a lot shorter, but I think this is the most emotional book yet and the ending was really important to the storyline.

these characters are legendary

I mean I’m really enjoying this what can I say. It’s been beautiful seeing how these six friends how grown together and faced all their challenges head on with love. Cant wait for book 7 and the final installment of the addicted series.

4 stars instead of 5 because you made me relive all the hurtful moments of kiss the sky and hothouse flower

This book dragged on for me because it was basically a rehash of the first two books in the Calloway sisters series. I liked seeing certain scenes from Lily and Lo's perspective but a lot were just repeats that I found boring. I really struggle to like Lily and Lo's characters at times and I think it's because I can't relate to their self destructive and hurtful behaviors that are fueled by their addictions. It's so hard to watch them make poor choices over and over and over again but I also understand why they are doing it. I'm unsure if working as a NICU nurse is impacting how much I HATE watching two couples who weren't ready for kids or didn't want kids having kids. It just seems so selfish, and I'm really worried this storyline is going to ruin the remaining books for me, but we will see I guess.

This one tells the story of Lily/Lo through all the plots of the previous 2 books when they weren't the main characters but in a fresh, new light. I didn't get as bored as I thought I would after reading the previous two. It would be hard to fully grasp the gravity of some of the major plot points without reading Kiss The Sky or Hothouse Flower.
