3.93 AVERAGE

Only downside was the overlap with Kiss the sky and Hothouse Flower

4.5 ONLY BC IT WAS A RECAP OF THE LAST TWO

well even if it was events that I had already read, it was still cool to see some scenes from their point of view. and others were new so... yeh it was a good read

Ugh so disappointed. This book is so redundant and unnecessary if you’ve read the series in order. This is Lo and Lily’s POV from the last 2+ years. It recaps EVERYTHING that has already been told during Rose and Connor’s and Daisy and Ryke’s story. Skip this book if you plan on reading the entire series.

3.75 ⭐️

Couldn’t give this a full 5 stars just because I’ve already experienced this storyline in the last 2 books but I’m a slut for lilo and I will read their perspective on every scene if I could!!

These books are awesome. Thrive is one of the best books I have read this year. Review to come.

If you aren’t reading these books, you are SERIOUSLY missing out. Everyone should be shouting from the top of their lungs about these books. No matter what I say it will not come close to describing how amazing not only Thrive but the entire Addicted series.

In case this is your first time hearing about this series, here’s a quick recap: Lily and Lo have been friends for a long time and in the beginning of the series they are in a “fake” relationship to cover up their addictions. Lily is addicted to sex, and Lo is an alcoholic. But, they realize that they have feelings for each other and want to be together but they have to fight against their demons. Throughout the series, they’re doing everything they can to be stronger for each other and for themselves. They have a lot of obstacles to overcome and the series is really emotional because of their journeys. There is also a spinoff series; Calloway Sisters that focuses on Lily’s sisters.

And now moving on to Thrive. I’m not going to talk much about the plot because I don’t want to give any spoilers away.

If you haven’t read the Calloway Sisters, but have read the other books then you’re good to go. Thrive spans over 2 years and overlaps with Kiss the Sky and Hothouse Flower so you will see things that happened but it will be from Lily and Lo’s point of view. I recommend that you read the spinoff books because they are SO GOOD.

The media has gone crazy after Lily and Lo’s addictions were made public. There’s all kinds of rumors swirling around and this just makes Lily feel even worse than she did before. Poor Lily has been through so much.

Lily and Lo have hit rock bottom, they are fighting the demons that haunt them every day, and they’re fighting against the media. With everything that is going on the one sure thing that they have is each other. They depend and rely on each other. The strength of their love and bond will be fought against, but they face the battle together.

Thrive is deeply emotional, every emotion will leap off the page and hit you in the heart. It’s intense with the right amount of humor to balance everything out. You will tear up, laugh, and smile. My heart raced from beginning to end. This series is really addictive and I’ve never read books with this great of character development before. You really feel like you know each character.

The banter between the characters is amazing. The writing flows flawlessly. You will get sucked into the story and not notice things going on around you. Krista & Becca Ritchie are truly gifted writers and I can’t wait to read more from them.

If you’re looking for a new series to start that brings all the feels, doesn’t have an unnecessary drama, and has great characters, then look no further. This series has it all. I highly recommend the Addicted series.
