no se lo que siento, ni cuántas estrellas le doy a esta lectura. Me perturbó a la médula pero qué poderosa historia, pero qué retorcida, pero qué real, pero qué visceral, pero qué enternecedora…

Sad, morbid, dexterously woven but very sad. Not sure if trauma Literature should really be read this year, 2020 is already like a grief bomb but what a book, children and grief, alas!

(*said in the most positive and admiring way possible*) what the hell did I just read. loved every perverse second of this

This will probably end up being the darkest thing I'll have read this year. I'm going through books like crazy, and I wanted something disturbing, and damn did I come across something disturbing. This is gross, morbidly depressing, unexpectedly poetic in a childish way that compels you, and completely fascinating. It's like secretly looking into a dirty window at a nest of rats slowly eating each other alive.
