Love this Grumpy-Sunshine Adult Fairytale! It was SO fun to see a MMC be The Sunshine for once! It was also such a delight to have a FMC, that is cunning & smart, but A HUNTRESS TOO!!!??? YAAAASSSS!! I love this kind of heroine! I love that this is spicy, but you still get the fairytale & slow burn BEFORE you reach the spicy bits. It’s not out of left field, and their attraction builds, there is history & progress. But damn, once it got there? WOWZA!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

I'm really enjoying this series so far. To begin with I thought the plot was going to be the same as the first book but there's enough differences so that it wasn't too predictable or boring.

Puck's banter is great, he's funny and flirty but he always has an ulterior motive. Juniper comes across as someone that thinks they know it all and gloats to begin with but slowly it's revealed why she clings onto facts so much.

The pacing was really good and I stayed up until 3am to finish it because I didn't want to put it down 😂. There were parts that made me shed a tear or two and there were parts that made me smile and laugh.

I really liked seeing another kingdom and how it was run. The side characters are interesting and I like the writing style of this author.

I like the slow burns and the gradual relationships that form in this series. There is one thing I'm predicting for the next book so I'll wait to see if I've guessed right or not.

I am invested. I thought this book was a little bit better than the first. Maybe because the background was already settled. It was fun to learn about another one of the sisters.

If you love mythical creatures, slow burns, strong female leads and mischief then look no further. I am obsessed with the lay out of these books, they are so original in terms of the way that we are following the second challenge from the first book and the first sister.

It has taken me a grand total of 4 days to read both the first and second in this series and I am anxiously awaiting the third installment. Its been years since I thought about a book whilst working and this certainly did that! For a light hearted, fun read pick this up and enjoy. ❤
