Jane Eyre. This was an intriguing read, started of slow paced, but a few surprises along the way, keeps the pace changing, the reader intrigued but interested. A surprising end to say the least.
This character never ceases to surprise, and Bronte writing style helps getting you hooked as the story unfolds. This book does defy its time, and for my first attempt at any work by the Bronte sisters I'm plesently surprised. Really good.

Really enjoyed the story, love how complex Jane Eyre’s character is. Themes of religious morality, gender, romance, and society.

Every man in this book is horrible. Can’t count how many times I said WTF when pining over Mr. Rochester, especially.
