OH MY GOD WHAT A BORING BOOK.

Fights for ages and ages, barely any actually interesting characters, (most of them were indistinguishable) and a plot that was almost impossible to follow. One of the worst reads I've had since the Maze Runner series.

Ich hätts auch deusch lesen sollen.

Brilliant, beautiful, experimental SF/fantasy writing that feels not dated at all. A unique outlier of SF/fantasy writing.

When the mythical members of the pantheon of heaven disagree, things get messy. On its face, this story is incredible, but it doesn't stand up well to deep probing. Do yourself a favor and avoid reading any summary first.

I have yet to find anything truly like this book-- sci-fi told like an ancient myth.
