I always look forward to an Alice in Wonderland retelling. This one was much different than most I've found so far. Originally I picked it up because of being Alice, but once I read that it's also an adult version vs. a YA retelling, I expected more.

Unfortunately, if you're looking for spice, it's not this one. There's one good scene for that and it's more than half-way through the story. If you're just wanting a original Alice story, though, then this is a great place to be. I liked this enough to continue on with the series because I am intrigued to see what else will happen in this Wonderland.

Halfway through and couldn't finish, nothing happens. Surprisingly boring for a Wonderland book.

So this is the second Eva Chase series I am listening to (1st was Dragon Shifter's Mate) and I am glad I didnt start with this one.
I am not a huge fan of Alice in Wonderland and dont know it is detail, so I found this book a little strange and really not my cup of tea. The writing of it was good and lots of detail, but yeah didnt keep my interest and I found it boring.

Wicked Wonderland by Eva Chase is a medium-burn reverse harem romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Samantha Cook and Teddy Hamilton. This is the first book in the Looking-Glass Curse series.

I love Eva's books! They always pull me in, and I can't help but binge them in one sitting. I am loving the chemistry between Lyssa, Hatter, Chess, and Theo. I can't wait to see how their relationship will progress over the course of the series. I really enjoyed getting all of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I can't wait to jump into the next book in the series Wrathful Wonderland.

Teddy and Samantha did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a medium-burn romance, why choose romance, fantasy romance.

Meh.

I wasn't sure what I was getting into when I was recommend this book by a friend. Honestly, the writing style worried me a little at times since there were several moments in the first three chapters were 'and' was used like three or four times in a single sentence. And then there were moments where I was very confused. Those kinds of things bug me...a lot.

However, once the story really picked up...wow...it was really good! I mean, I love Alice in Wonderland stories! It kind of reminded me of a manga where a similar story line was happening (Alice in the Country of Hearts, which is also amazing). But I liked the three guys who were interested in her. They all had their mini quirks and reasons for anyone to fall in love with them; of course a few heated moments here and there ;) It's so hard to pick which is the best! haha

I mean Hatter, Chess, and Theo are all great characters! I'd probably be Alice and choose all three ;)

Anyways, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story and I can't wait to read book two!
