Lyssa's bad day turns into an epic adventure when she inherits her great aunt's house and falls through a mirror into Wonderland. Eva Chase has a way with words that gets you so invested into her stories. This book was such an adventure to read and so hard to put down. Though the concept has been done; the story was new and different from others I've read. I can't wait to read the next one!

It’s rare for me to give up on a book so soon, but every sentence was a drag. I can’t say for certain whether the problem is burnout or content, but I skimmed past the halfway mark and not even spite compelled me to continue. So ig I’m calling it here. Ciao.

I was pretty excited for this book because I've read books in this same genre that I've loved. First couple of chapters were pretty interesting. There was a bad relationship and messy break up combined with the death of a mysterious relative who left a house in their will. So obviously this sounded mysterious and the build up to potential future romance.
Once wonderland entered the picture I was still interested in the book but I just wasn't feeling the connection to the characters. I think if I kept on, I would have felt more of the plot and where the characters start to have significance, but I didn't make it to that point in time. I will probably give this book another try but this book just doesn't fit my taste at this moment.

I have always loved Alice in Wonderland since I was a little girl and I love retelling of it. So knowing that this was a retelling plus being a Romance book I wanted to check it out. It was good though I dont really care for Alyssa being into wanting to have sex with Hatter, Theo and Chess all at the same time more less. So It gets an half a star taken from my rating.

I had to give this book a good rating. It was written good and had likable characters. There is nothing wrong with this book. I didn’t fall in love though. I finished it but I’m not sure I’m going to continue the series. I tend to like darker books and this wasn’t that. Maybe I’ll come back to the series when I’m in the mood for something brighter than my usual taste. I will say that I have my eye on Eva Chase. I’m going to try another of her books, just something hopefully darker.

Wonderful take on Wonderland
First book in a new trilogy from Eva Chase, which takes us through the looking glass and into Wonderland. There are some familiar characters and some fresh faces, all of whom work well together.
There's a satisfying conclusion to this particular adventure, but loads of fun still to come! Can't wait for the next book!
