I’ve reached the point where I count it a privilege to read anything Rebecca writes. This time she gives us outstanding insights into the counter-cultural ways Jesus valued and esteemed women, and how they responded to Him as more than a great moral teacher, but placed their faith in Him as the risen Lord.

A DNF from earlier in the year as it was a bit of a dry non-fiction for my taste. Good points looking at women in the bible and how they taught us different things about Gods love.

This is a great book about how the gospels and specifically the life of Jesus affirms women. It is well written and has lots of notations if one wants to read further in the subject.
I appreciated how the author sections the book and then has study or reflection questions after each chapter. Would be easy to lead a study through this book.
