I truly loved this book!
The characters were amazing, relatable with depth and growth. Cletus was one of my favorite characters in this series and his story couldn’t have been better!
It was absolute perfection!

3.5 I liked this one because it didn't have the obnoxious miscommunication trope, but I never felt like Jennifer was independent, even though she had her own space. *shrug*
Real truth: I'd like to read about Billy and Claire. Or Roscoe would be great too!

2019 reread: I heart Cletus + Jenn. That is all.
Original review: Penny Reid continues to hit the romance mark for me. Sure, there were elements of the plot of this one that were a little out there (that could probably be said for all her books!) but the character, heart and genuine laugh-out-loud humour continues to make her writing stand out from the crowd in the genre.

This book was really good
This book was really good and I cannot wait to continue in this series and I hope that previous characters are in the next book's along with the main couple
