Has some good things for thought that I'll put into action, but a lot of filler too

Some really good insight into children and how to apply the love languages as well as how to raise emotionally intelligent children and how to foster good behavior. Recommend reading the original 5 Love Languages first before the children's version.

I got this from the library today and read it pretty quickly. If you've read the original book by the authors, you get the gist of this book. There are good ideas about how to figure out your child's love language and there's a quiz at the end for teens to take. The book helped me see the signs that Colton shows that his love language is physical touch. Every parent should read this book!

Love the 5 love languages concept, but the reading itself was a dry.

Good refresher of the 5 Love Languages framed in a way to apply the idea to your child(ren).   Nothing drastically different than the original I read years ago.

There is a Christianity undertone, so if mentioning religion or God will bother you, it probably isn't for you.

The ending chapters about divorce felt a bit condescending, so I wish I would've stopped before that part.
