dante wrote such a legendary review of this book I had to read!!

was going to give this a 4 after the first 4 stories, but the monkey chapter just really lost me. I think I just like more meaning/conclusions from writing than this book had. I did really like the structure of this writing though. with each chapter having many sections and each section having many paragraphs. idk how to describe that lol but it flowed really nicely and split up thoughts well.

also, I did not like how any woman was characterized in this book. like it was written in 2020. misogyny should have a purpose at this point and it did not in this book.

My favorite part was when Haruki Murakami wrote a poem about baseball players’ butts.

Quick read, comes in easily digestible bites. Would recommend if you like Murakami— please note he is a little odd and misogynistic.
