a short, classic holiday romance! I wanted a little more from the story, but I loved the diabetes representation!

I never expected to have such a visceral, emotional reaction to this book. And the fact that it's christmas? Pushed it over the edge. 11/10

f*** it christmas in may

this was so much cuter than it had any right to be. and the excellent demi rep pushed it a full extra star up for me.

3.5 — very cute holiday romance! loved the bookstore atmosphere and the sprinkle of work rivals that we got. the characters were fun, although the narration did feel a bit forced throughout and i’m not quite sure i buy a specific spoiler somehow being kept a secret for an entire year. i do also wish this was just a bit longer, because i think some of the things in here could have done with a bit more page time. aside from that, though, i read this in one sitting and felt compelled throughout the story!

I was prepared to hate this for being too saccharine, but I actually really enjoyed it. It was cute. I thought the chemistry felt real and Iiked the main characters.

Such a cute holiday romance stand alone. grumpy x sunshine bookstore staff learn the bookstore may go under. So they agree to start a competition; whoever sells the most books will keep their job while the other is forced to quit. Naturally they fall in love lol
