i’ll give this book a plus for being the first book i’ve read in months it was a super easy and quick read. i guess i had too high of expectations for this because it was just too unserious for me lol. it was so hard to believe she “hated” him when it was overpowered by how much she loved/attracted to him. i think if you go in taking this as an unserious hallmark christmas movie but in book form you’ll enjoy it. but idk i just found the main character super annoying. i will say the author did a great job at portraying christmas vibes and describing how it feels to be in love with christmas but other than i just couldn’t care for the characters

This book was going to be a five star read for me… the last 1/4 of the book kind of ruined that for me… way too much/not needed ( my opinion) open door/bedroom scenes… cringe worthy for this reader.
Why it was going to be a 5 star read for me… reminded me of two great movies: Shop Around the Corner ( Jimmy Stewart and Margaret Sullivan) and You’ve Got Mail ( Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks). Loved that the majority of the story occurred in a bookstore. I liked how the author incorporated neurodivergent character and character with chronic health condition.
