This was SO enjoyable! I can agree that this story is, at times, very cringy and cliche. But, I do not care. I am a holiday romance lover and I will die a holiday romance lover!

I really loved Gabby how she was because I just saw me in her.
Ohh and Jonathan, sweet sweet (hockey player who reads) my door is open because this was one of the best MMC novels I ever read.
(And please read this at Christmas or anytime it's worth it!)

in case you forget months from now...stood up late reading this & easy to pick up where i left off. jonathan & gabriella were hoot. 3.5 for being able to keep me hooked, but storyline wasn't good enough for a 4. i cringed in some parts, that's also why lol
This was fine? It was a short book that felt like a formulaic combination of several other rom coms we've seen before, except with a neurodivergent demisexual FMC. While I'm glad the books represents those identities, it doesn't seem like it added much to the story. All of the spice is at the end of the book, at which time I skimmed the scenes because I never connected with the characters or their story. Watching You've Got Mail, or Little Shop Around the Corner, or that Hallmark movie with the bookshop employee and the guy who has amnesia would probably be more satisfying.

This book was very cute once the story got going, but it felt like it was written for a very specific reader that is not me. I enjoyed it for what it was, but it just wasn’t paced out or written in a way I enjoy.

This was soo cute and very well developed for a Novella. Had notes of You’ve Got Mail and I loved the representation! Especially the demisexuality rep.
