Overall enjoyed the book and the romance, the tension was there throughout the book which I liked, I think the book just fell flat towards the end. I also noticed there were a lot of characteristics introduced for the purpose of furthering the plot with not much substance - eg the sister and the FMC’a dad. I also don’t know if this counts as a true enemies to lovers because the MMC definitely had feelings FMC pretty early on and the enemies to lovers felt one sided.
I appreciated the authors note at the beginning of the book as I think the context helped.

I read Chloe when I want a book that feels like a warm hug. I mean the guy stops wearing strong cologne when he learns that she is sensitive to smells...COME ON.
My favorite part of this book was seeing both of the characters tear down their walls and start to give in a little. Chloe always writes such a safe space for her characters to land.

Ugh, wow. The characters, the sexual tension, the COMMUNICATION, the romantic gestures, everything. I’m gonna reread this every Christmas.
Pretty derivative of You’ve Got Mail which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It really bugged me that they kept referring to each other as Mr / Miss last name. Whyyyyyy
