Almost every panel is a gorgeous, detailed meditation on everyday surroundings, and it seems like this would hold up very well over repeat readings. The chapter where he breaks his glasses is my favorite, because it offers two different gazes, one omnipresent and the other through a distorted lens, not unlike the walks I take with my camera.

Hay obras que transmiten muchísimo , esta es una de ellas. Paz y armonía en varias historias delicadamente contadas , donde el silencio dice mas que forzadas viñetas llenas de diálogos o reflexiones.

This book could also be called "Incidental Music for an Afternoon Stroll" and I just love that.

It's a very calming read that reminds me of sitting in the shade on those perfect days when it's sunny, warm but not hot, and breezy.

My only real complaint stems from the fact that they flipped the pages in this English version. There is one section where the flipping was obviously inconsistent (if there were any other spots in the book, I didn't notice them). The main character sits under a tree. A woman approaches from his right, then she's on his left, then his right again, then his left, then his right, then his left again. At first, I thought maybe it had to do with keeping the speech bubbles in the right order, but duh...when the pages are flipped, so are the panels. So, why did they do this?
