This book was entertaining enough. I felt several of the characters were very immature and annoying. There were about four story lines going on throughout, unfortunately I only cared about two of them and had a hard time slogging through the other ones.
The scenery and information about Tuckernuck Island was interesting.

A good book for what it is. Happy endings are nice and necessary. Covers dealing with grief, coping with self, choosing to love passionately, and the relationships we have with our sisters.

Overall, not a bad read if you're looking for something light. The story did seem to drag on in some places.

I love reading Elin Hilderbrand in the winter...I dream of being on the beach in Nantucket! A good read...I didn't care for a couple of the characters though.

This is just my second Elin Hilderbrand. Definitely NOT as good as [b:The Hotel Nantucket|59227941|The Hotel Nantucket|Elin Hilderbrand|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1634954735l/59227941._SY75_.jpg|86476191], but not horrible.
SpoilerI struggled with the "instant romance" of Tate and Barrett. I was confused by their storyline and how they both just immediately fell in love and became end game in just a week. Also, this book treated suicidal ideation very flippantly; I'd imagine that those lines would not fly in 2022.

Enjoyable book about 4 women who have had a hard time with their love life are now on the family vacation home at Tuckernuck Island off the coast of Nantucket. Birdie is the mom who is divorced and has been dating a man whose wife has Alzheimer. India, her sister, was married and her husband committed suicide. Chess, Birdie's daughter, broke her engagement and then a week later he fell in a climbing accident and died. She is in the depths of despair. Finally there is Tate, another of Birdie's daughters who has been asked to come help and had problems of her own. Can these four ladies get their lives back on track.
