So cute! I love these simple little romances that just make me giggle! This felt like if a rom com was an audio book and I just love that!

This book was SO good! I flew through it! I did guess the twist, but only right before it happened, and it was amazing!!
Vera was amazing! I really connected with her and she had my laughing my ass off the whole time. I loved her commentary and her witty jokes. I can’t wait to read anything else Cara Bastone has to offer me.

Edit: The only thing that would change this from a 5 star review to a 4.75 star review, is if we don’t get more in the second book. The build up was so spectacular and then it just ended.. I assume that’s because there is a second book, but if we don’t get to see how it all plays out.. I’m going to be really disappointed

The narrators did an awesome job: the protagonists felt believable and adorable. I loved to follow their discussions, their thoughts, hearing them encourage each other and learning about them. I was giggling and smiling so much while listening to this audiobook. I need a Kal in my life.

A super cute fast read.
At the beginning of this audiobook, I would have given it a solid 3 starts. But by the end of it, I was very invested. The end is 5 stars. So, overall 4 starts. The start was a little rough, because it was super cheesy and the female voice actress was super valley girl and uppidy. But she got better or I just got used to her. The story itself was adorable by the end.

I guess I’m a fan of traditional narration. I didn’t like that it was dramatized.

This was a super cute story and a great way to boost my mood and kill time. Absolute fluff, but that's not a bad thing. Read or listen to this for a truly adorkable couple.
