I like the way Robert Greene writes. This book is different to his other ones, in that there are no comments in the margins, nor is it divided into sectors. However it's still quite good, and references a variety of successful people.
> 48 Laws. Had fun reading this one.
While the term fearlessness is pretty obvious as a precursor to success (other forms include boldness, courage), it is something that can never be overlooked.
When we are fearless, we can begin to live. We can begin to accomplish our goals.
In a world that takes what it wants, we have to stand up to it and get our own. Once we face our greatest fear and embrace it, there is nothing else to fear.

Part biography, part self help book and extremely repetitive throughout. It wont be satisfying for fans of 50 cent and it won't be satisfying if you're looking for a biography of other historical figures because it manages to touch on everyone only briefly. It doesn't pay enough attention to any one subject and Greene tells the same story of 50 Cent as a hustler over and over again. Seriously, theres only so many times I need to hear about him being shot with 9 bullets.
However, it is amusing and some sections can be read aloud for great amusement.

Did you know 50 Cent was a Stoic? It's the fearless philosophy you need to grow from a hustler to a media mogul apparently. I originally started this because I was looking for the [b:The 48 Laws of Power|1303|The 48 Laws of Power|Robert Greene|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1385228992s/1303.jpg|1297604]. Then I saw this one, by the same business author and I thought "Narrated by 50 Cent" meant he'd actually be reading it(audiobook version). That was naive. The other author, [a:Robert Greene|865|Robert Greene|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1298212921p2/865.jpg], is the reader, although 50 Cent does speak briefly to explain the main idea for each chapter. It is then explained with historic examples, examples from 50 Cent's life on the streets and a mix of philosophy, logic and other supportive concepts for why you should follow that way of life.
I think the most heavily referenced historical examples of the fearless idea are Fredrick Douglas, Napoleon Bonaparte, Malcolm X, Moses, although they are by no means the only ones. Joan of Arc, Hemingway, Amelia Earhart, Abraham Lincoln.. there are a lot of interesting stories here. I liked the matter of fact way life on the streets is dealt with and the lessons that could be learned from it.

Slow start, good middle,mystical end
Interesting tale on Greene work through the frenetic life of 50 Cent, let down by the bizarre last chapter. Fascinating application of historic lessons through the experience of a radical rapper. Nice change but some editing required as it gets repetitive.
