2.5/5
For Book 2 I was craving the sequel, not the prequel, so a lot of this book felt tedious and kinda slumped till around 60% of the way in.

It didn’t help that the main character Donny was so unlikeable compared to Jules from Book 1. Felt like the story was happening TO him rather than him making choices that moved the plot.

This 14h audiobook could have been a novella tbh
