I wish I had longer to get to know the characters. They felt a little too rough to be any more than stereotypes and that impacted the story a bit.
Not a must read but a "It's nice" read.

The art style is also freaking sick, it has great atmosphere and attention to detail. I’m not *crazy* about the designs for Eli and Victor, but that’s probably a me problem and doesn’t reflect on the overall artwork.

The introduction of new powers is cool though.

I really enjoyed this! I haven't read either of the main books in the Villains series but this got me up to speed nicely and it didn't impact my enjoyment. I loved our protagonist Charlotte, she was really well developed. The art style wasn't my favourite, however it did grow on me the more I read.
As an extra note the bonus short story Warm Up was fantastic!
