I definitely enjoyed this book but I still think I enjoyed the first book better. Don't get me wrong, I loved the character development of Annabeth and Percy and enjoyed seeing their relationship grow a little more. I also didn't hate the introduction of Tyson. However, the plot just felt...I don't know, shallow?
SpoilerClearly, they needed to save the camp and they did but I'm not entirely sure how I feel about Luke and his cruise ship. Why a cruise ship?

Another cute addition to the Percy Jackson story. This is the second time I've read this (I read it back in 2013 or so), and I think I could finally comprehend it on a deeper level. It was a nice, easy read that didn't take much brain work to understand. It did feel like a filler, and lost some of the charm from the first book. But alas, what can you do.

I cannot believe I spoiled myself! Almost halfway through the book i wanted to see the number of pages left , but i accidentally read the last line in the book !! Big spoiler...sigh

Other than that, the book was fun , cute at times..but was predictable because of the before mentioned accident.
