One of the first books I’ve read in a long time; reminded me why I loved reading. Nathan Filer wrote this with the main character as the author, allowing the reader to experience what his mind does. Memories are told out of order, sometimes they come back unexpectedly, and he often gets distracted to explaining something around him. I think this was a great way of allowing us to build the full story.
Moderate: Addiction, Child death, Drug use, Forced institutionalization, Grief, Mental illness, Schizophrenia/Psychosis , Self harm, Suicidal thoughts, and Toxic relationship
