I've read the essays in this book before, but never with the exquisite drawings of Chris Riddell. The essays are beautiful and necessary and thought provoking and full of Gaimanesque wisdom and Riddell's art is a perfect foil for it.

Four essays about the importance of chairs, libraries, stories and free speech. Gaiman is both humorous and insightful and is so fun to read in both fiction and non fiction.
This book provided me some interesting insights on the power and importance of ideas, as well as the purpose of libraries. Neil Gaiman made his words clear by painting vivid imageries.
Edit: I listened to this on audiobook. It's not really a big problem for me, but I thought he was a bit too poetic at times while discussing fairly simple concepts, trying to make them sound more profound them they are.
