Inspiring. But short.

Like a 3.5, closer to a 4, but there was one illustration I wasn't enamored with, so it is what it is.

Truly inspiring, a quick read with touching and fitting drawings. I like to annotate and mark things, it's a book you can make your own, a form of inner discussion.
The short content brings to question if it's worth a full hard cover book but I personally did enjoy it in this format as it allows me easily to reread, add to it and lend it to friends (with my notes and without the fear of of getting it back broken.)
Looses points only because of some minor repetition and some surface level advice (other advice was very deep and original though!)

Found it in our library today. Nice little talk for children and parents.

“A Library is a place of safety, a haven from the world. It’s a place with librarians in it. We need to teach our children to read and to enjoy reading. We need libraries. We need books. We need literate citizens.”
Seriously makes me feel blessed to work at a library. Such beautiful words. I was obviously biased to this section of the book. But I thought that all in all there was some very insightful tidbits in here that were complemented beautifully by Chris Riddell’s sketches.
